Recommended filter planning for wholesale buyers

When launching a new air purifier line, pair each machine SKU with a clear filter SKU. Avoid selling the machine first and trying to define the filter later. The product page, user manual and after-sales team should all use the same filter name and replacement instructions.

If the product is positioned for particles, verify the particle-filter and complete-purifier evidence separately. If the project includes odor or gas claims, define the carbon or sorbent specification and target pollutant instead of treating “activated carbon” as proof of universal gas removal.

Official reference boundary

ISO 29463-1:2024 covers classification, performance testing, marking and documentation of high-efficiency filters, while ISO 29463-5:2022 specifies filter-element efficiency testing at the most penetrating particle size (MPPS). The U.S. EPA air-cleaner guide distinguishes particle filtration from gas filtration and notes that filters require regular replacement. These sources define evidence questions; they do not certify LYL or any filter SKU.
