Sourcing an OEM air purifier manufacturer is not simply about finding the lowest unit price. The right factory partner determines your product quality, certifications, lead time, after-sales filter supply and ultimately your brand reputation in the market. This checklist covers the six most important criteria for evaluating a potential OEM air purifier supplier.
1. Does the Factory Have an Existing Product Range That Matches Your Market?
An established, tooled range can reduce development time and let a buyer evaluate a real configuration before paying for new tooling. It does not prove that every model already meets every destination requirement. Treat each voltage, plug, wireless module, motor, filter and branded configuration as a defined sourcing scope.
- Request a datasheet and current sample for the exact model under discussion
- Record the proposed bill-of-materials and any changes from the tested configuration
- Confirm which steps are performed at the named facility and which are outsourced
- Match room-size and performance claims to model-specific data, not catalog language
Product images help a buyer review appearance and construction, but they are not manufacturing or compliance evidence. Ask for model identifiers, change-control records and a written list of documents that belong to that configuration.
2. Can They Map the Exact Product to the Rules for Your Target Market?
Requirements vary by destination, product type, electrical and wireless functions, sales model and the role of the manufacturer, importer or responsible supplier. Use the table as a due-diligence starting point, not as a universal certification list.

Before relying on a report, match the model and sample identity, applicant, manufacturer, brand, hardware and wireless modules, test method, issue date and target-market use. A document for a similar product may inform planning, but it does not automatically cover a private-label change or a different model.
3. Can They Prove Their Manufacturing Role and Change Control?
Logo placement, custom colours, manuals, cartons and filter packaging are useful OEM services, but those services alone do not prove who manufactures the product. Verify the legal entity and facility, inspect the stated production and quality processes, and ask which operations or components are outsourced.
For private-label work, request a signed configuration or golden sample, artwork approval, bill-of-materials change control, incoming and final inspection records, and a process for handling non-conformities. These controls are more useful than trying to classify every supplier as either a factory or a trading company from marketing materials.
4. What Is the MOQ for the Chosen Configuration?
MOQ is a commercial result of the model, component purchase quantities, colour, artwork, packaging, test scope and production setup. LYL Clean Air's published standard wholesale MOQ is 200 units per model; selected models may support 50 to 100-unit trial orders. Sample availability and customization costs are confirmed for the selected configuration.
Compare quotations on the same scope. Record whether the price includes packaging, replacement filters, test support, tooling, artwork setup and any destination-specific documentation. A smaller number is not automatically the lower-risk offer if the configuration is undefined.
5. Can They Provide Reliable After-Sales Filter Supply?
An air purifier is only as good as its ongoing filter supply. Before committing to a model, confirm: the replacement filter part number, recommended replacement interval, minimum reorder quantity for filters, and whether the factory can provide custom-branded filter packaging for your brand.
6. What Information Should You Provide When Requesting a Quote?
To receive an accurate and actionable quote, provide the following:
- Target country, sales channel and responsible importing or selling entity
- Estimated quantity and whether this is sample, trial or repeat production
- Voltage, plug, wireless functions and other selected options
- Claims and market requirements that need model-specific evidence
- Logo, packaging, colour, manual and filter-SKU requirements
- Target launch date and replacement-filter plan
